Pile Height is the height of the actual pile fibers, measured in inches. Do not include the backing material or fin(s) in the measurement.

Backing Width is the width of the dust plug backing material, measured in inches. It does not include the release liner.

Hot Melt adhesive is our standard, high-quality adhesive, and is the most economical option.

Our Acrylic Tape from 3M is an alternative adhesive that provides a high bond to metal and low surface energy plastics.

Foam Backing adds cushioning and dimensional stability to the dust plug.

Using a Dust Plug Fin will increase seal performance against air and water infiltration. The more fins used, the better the performance.

Our standard Clear fin is made of polypropylene plastic, and is our most economical option.

Black and White fins are considered a "quieter" option and are made with a woven polypropylene plastic, creating a cloth-like material.

Fin Height Above Pile is the measurement of how far the fin(s) stick up above the total height of the dust plug pile fibers, measured in inches.

Our standard offering is to Reel the dust plug, creating a continuous-length material. Lengths will vary with other product options selected.

Kiss options will cut through the fibers, backing and adhesive, leaving only the adhesive's release liner connected on a reel.

Chop cuts will go all the way through the product, leaving each segment of product unattached to others.

Boat cuts are chopped cuts that create an angled profile at each end of the dust plug strip.

Cut Length is the length of the finished product, after all cutting has been done, measured in inches.

The length of a full Reel will vary with other product options selected and is measured in feet.

Rigid backing is a hard plastic backing and has a width range of 0.187" - 2.850", depending on the adhesive type used.

Flexible backing is useful for applications involving a slight bend or curvature. It has a width range of 0.270" - 2.850", depending on the adhesive type used
