THE EXECUTIVE TEAM
Bob Burns
President
Bob Burns was appointed as President of AmesburyTruth in June of 2019. Bob came to AmesburyTruth through the Ashland Hardware acquisition in 2018, where he served as President since 2013. He has over 28 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations and Executive Level Management. Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Kansas, and a Master of International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management / Thunderbird.
Manuel (Manny) San Miguel
Chief Financial Officer
Manny joined the AmesburyTruth executive team as Chief Financial Officer in 2023. Manny brings over 20 years of senior financial expertise with a broad scope of leadership roles, including strategy, planning, and operations. He has proven success in developing and implementing global strategic plans to deliver long-term business objectives. Manny graduated from Inter-American University of Puerto Rico with a double Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Marketing and has been a Certified Public Accountant. He is fluent in Spanish and English and serves on the Board of a not-for-profit organization focused on helping Latino communities.
Brian Rea
Chief Human Resources Officer
Brian Rea joined AmesburyTruth in April of 2019 and has over 20 years of progressive human resources experience primarily with publicly traded manufacturing companies. As a human resources leader he positions the function as a business partner, ensuring HR initiatives drive business results. Brian received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Elmira College in Elmira, NY and he holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
Pat Bayer
Chief Information Officer
Pat joined AmesburyTruth as CIO in 2016. Since joining the company, his focus has been on consolidating, modernizing, securing and continuously improving the IT landscape. Pat has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Penn State and is a US Department of Energy certified Professional Nuclear Engineer.
Michelle Nissen
Vice President of Product Management and Engineering
Michelle Nissen was appointed Vice President of Product Management in February of 2019. Michelle has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing and product management. She completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial & Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
Kevin Mair
Vice President of Supply Chain
Kevin Mair joined the AmesburyTruth executive team as Vice President of Supply Chain in 2024. Coming to us from Fortune Brands, Kevin is a results-oriented leader with global supply chain and sourcing experience across public and private companies in industrial and consumer goods, as well as engineering requirements across multiple manufacturing and distribution facilities in the US, Canada, and Mexico that complements AmesburyTruth's business structure. Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and a Master of Business Administration from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Kevin is also a Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen practitioner.
Mike Smith
Vice President of Hardware Operations
Mike Smith was appointed as Vice President of Hardware Operations in 2020. Mike came to AmesburyTruth through the Ashland Hardware acquisition in 2018, where he served as Vice President of Marketing since 2013. He has over 29 years of experience in the fenestration industry with executive roles in Product Management, Product Development, General Management and Operations. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from The University of Illinois, and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
Phillip Cooke
Vice President of Sales
Phillip Cooke was promoted to Vice President of Sales at AmesburyTruth in April 2024. Since joining the company in 2015, Phillip has demonstrated exceptional proficiency across various progressive roles including Channel Management where he was instrumental in setting up our distribution network and Product Director for Seals and Extrusions. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Christopher Newport University. Phillip is currently pursuing his MBA at Clemson University and anticipates completion in August 2024.
Renee Chesler
Vice President of Sales National Accounts
Renee joined AmesburyTruth in April 2021. Renee came to AmesburyTruth with 20 years' experience in sales and marketing leadership roles in the building materials industry including five years in sales leadership in the window industry. Renee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organization Management and an Masters of Business Administration from Eastern University in St. David's, PA.

HISTORY
Truth Hardware and Amesbury merged in 2013 to become AmesburyTruth. In 2018, Ashland was acquired, by joining forces, AmesburyTruth has become an industry-leading organization offering an extensive product line with considerable global resources. AmesburyTruth is now perfectly positioned to provide customers even greater opportunity to take advantage of engineered solutions.
Amesbury History: Amesbury began as a manufacturer and supplier of door and window components and weatherseals. Through the years, its reputation for product quality and exemplary customer service helped it grow to become North America's leading service provider of products and solutions for the window and door industry.
Truth Hardware History: Truth Hardware began in 1914 as a blacksmith shop in Ellendale, Minnesota. In 1955, the company began designing and manufacturing window and door hardware. Through relentless innovation and commitment to quality, Truth Hardware became the industry's leading hardware manufacturer, offering well over 100 different products.
Ashland Hardware History: Ashland Hardware began providing innovative, quality window and door hardware in 1932, when it's sister company, Amerock (then known as American Cabinet Hardware Corporation) negotiated their first contract with Andersen Windows.
