AmesburyTruth Monterrey Mexico Facility Achieves Sustainability Certification

AmesburyTruth is proud to announce that the Monterrey Mexico facility (Ashland Hardware and Casting Systems DBA AmesburyTruth) has received the “Sustainable Company Distinction” (Distintivo Empresa Sustentable) Certification issued by the UDEM and the Secretary of Economy of N.L. in northeast Mexico.

Through the University of Monterrey and the Mexican state of New León (Nuevo León), a group of AmesburyTruth employees set out to find ways to improve the environmental footprint of the facility. The team brought their learnings back to Monterrey, and over the course of 7 months completed enhancements in areas focusing on sustainability and regulatory compliance. These changes were recognized by the state, and the UDEM awarded the high distinction. President Bob Burns said “it’s quite an accomplishment, 40 companies set out to reach this certification and only 12 were able to implement what they learned successfully, we are very proud of this team and thanks to their dedication, AmesburyTruth is on a better path to a more sustainble future.”

Employees recognized for their contributions are Javier Pizaña (Project Coordinator), Raymundo Ambriz (Energy), Eduardo Martinez (Environment), Javier de la Rosa (Chain of Valor), and José Zuñiga and María Santiago (Social Responsibility).
